नित्यानन्दकरी वराभयकरी सौन्दर्यरत्नाकरी

निर्धूताखिलघोरपावनकरी प्रत्यक्षमाहेश्वरी ।

प्रालेयाचलवंशपावनकरी काशीपुराधीश्वरी

भिक्षां देहि कृपावलम्बनकरी मातान्नपूर्णेश्वरी ॥१॥

nityānandakarī varābhayakarī saundaryaratnākarī

nirdhūtākhilaghorapāvanakarī pratyakṣamāheśvarī |

prāleyācalavaṃśapāvanakarī kāśīpurādhīśvarī

bhikṣāṃ dehi kṛpāvalambanakarī mātānnapūrṇeśvarī ||1||

Oh Mother Annapurna! You who are the bestower of eternal happiness, the donor of gifts and protection, the ocean of beauty.

The destroyer of all sins and the purifier, the Great Goddess,

Who sanctified the lineage of Himavan, the king of the mountain of Himalayas, by taking birth as Devi Parvati, and who is the great deity of Kashi.

Please Mother Annapurna, grant us the alms of Your Grace.

नानारत्नविचित्रभूषणकरी हेमाम्बराडम्बरी

मुक्ताहारविलम्बमानविलसद्वक्षोजकुम्भान्तरी ।

काश्मीरागरुवासिताङ्गरुचिरे काशीपुराधीश्वरी

भिक्षां देहि कृपावलम्बनकरी मातान्नपूर्णेश्वरी ॥२॥

nānāratnavicitrabhūṣaṇakarī hemāmbarāḍambarī

muktāhāravilambamānavilasadvakṣojakumbhāntarī |

kāśmīrāgaruvāsitāṅgarucire kāśīpurādhīśvarī

bhikṣāṃ dehi kṛpāvalambanakarī mātānnapūrṇeśvarī ||2||

Oh Mother Annapurna! You who are adorned with ornaments made up of different kinds of gems, wearer of golden-laced dress.

The space in between whose breasts shines with the pendant garland of pearls.

Your Beautiful Body is fragrant with Saffron and Agarwood; You are the Ruling Mother of the city of Kashi.

Please Mother Annapurna, grant us the alms of Your Grace.

योगानन्दकरी रिपुक्षयकरी धर्मार्थनिष्ठाकरी

चन्द्रार्कानलभासमानलहरी त्रैलोक्यरक्षाकरी ।

सर्वैश्वर्यसमस्तवाञ्छितकरी काशीपुराधीश्वरी

भिक्षां देहि कृपावलम्बनकरी मातान्नपूर्णेश्वरी ॥३॥

yogānandakarī ripukṣayakarī dharmārthaniṣṭhākarī

candrārkānalabhāsamānalaharī trailokyarakṣākarī |

sarvaiśvaryasamastavāñchitakarī kāśīpurādhīśvarī

bhikṣāṃ dehi kṛpāvalambanakarī mātānnapūrṇeśvarī ||3||

Oh Mother Annapurna! You who are the giver of happiness obtainable through yoga, the destroyer of the enemies, and the cause of getting us deeply rooted in righteousness.

You are like a great wave shining with the Divine Energies of Moon, Sun and Fire which protects the three worlds.

The donors of all riches, the bestower of the fruits of penance, and the presiding deity of Kashi.

Please Mother Annapurna, grant us the alms of Your Grace.

कैलासाचलकन्दरालयकरी गौरी उमा शङ्करी

कौमारी निगमार्थगोचरकरी ओङ्कारबीजाक्षरी ।

मोक्षद्वारकपाटपाटनकरी काशीपुराधीश्वरी

भिक्षां देहि कृपावलम्बनकरी मातान्नपूर्णेश्वरी ॥४॥

kailāsācalakandarālayakarī gaurī umā śaṅkarī

kaumārī nigamārthagocarakarī oṅkārabījākṣarī |

mokṣadvārakapāṭapāṭanakarī kāśīpurādhīśvarī

bhikṣāṃ dehi kṛpāvalambanakarī mātānnapūrṇeśvarī ||4||

Oh Mother Annapurna! You are the resident of the caves of the Kailash Mountain, and you are known by various names like Gauri, Uma, Shankari, and Kaumari.

You are the cause of our comprehension of the Sacred Scriptures, whose basic syllable is Om.

You are the opener of the doors of emancipation and the presiding deity of Kashi.

Please Mother Annapurna, grant us the alms of Your Grace.

दृश्यादृश्यविभूतिवाहनकरी ब्रह्माण्डभाण्डोदरी

लीलानाटकसूत्रभेदनकरी विज्ञानदीपाङ्कुरी ।

श्रीविश्वेशमनःप्रसादनकरी काशीपुराधीश्वरी

भिक्षां देहि कृपावलम्बनकरी मातान्नपूर्णेश्वरी ॥५॥

dṛśyādṛśyavibhūtivāhanakarī brahmāṇḍabhāṇḍodarī

līlānāṭakasūtrabhedanakarī vijñānadīpāṅkurī |

śrīviśveśamanaḥprasādanakarī kāśīpurādhīśvarī

bhikṣāṃ dehi kṛpāvalambanakarī mātānnapūrṇeśvarī ||5||

Oh Mother Annapurna! You are the conveyor of the visible and invisible divine attributes, the container of the primordial egg.

You are the directress of the divine play of creation, the flame of the lamp of true knowledge.

You are the source of the mental happiness of Shri Visvanath, and the presiding deity of Kashi.

Please Mother Annapurna, grant us the alms of Your Grace.

उर्वीसर्वजनेश्वरी भगवती मातान्नपूर्णेश्वरी

वेणीनीलसमानकुन्तलहरी नित्यान्नदानेश्वरी ।

सर्वानन्दकरी सदा शुभकरी काशीपुराधीश्वरी

भिक्षां देहि कृपावलम्बनकरी मातान्नपूर्णेश्वरी ॥६॥

urvīsarvajaneśvarī bhagavatī mātānnapūrṇeśvarī

veṇīnīlasamānakuntalaharī nityānnadāneśvarī |

sarvānandakarī sadā śubhakarī kāśīpurādhīśvarī

bhikṣāṃ dehi kṛpāvalambanakarī mātānnapūrṇeśvarī ||6||

Oh Mother Annapurna! You are the Mother Earth and the Goddess of everyone.

You have beautiful and dark braids of hairs flowing down like waves. You are the giver of food daily.

You are the direct bestower of emancipation and eternal welfare, and the presiding deity of Kashi.

Please Mother Annapurna, grant us the alms of Your Grace.

आदिक्षान्तसमस्तवर्णनकरी शम्भोस्त्रिभावाकरी

काश्मीरात्रिजलेश्वरी त्रिलहरी नित्याङ्कुरा शर्वरी ।

कामाकाङ्क्षकरी जनोदयकरी काशीपुराधीश्वरी

भिक्षां देहि कृपावलम्बनकरी मातान्नपूर्णेश्वरी ॥७॥

ādikṣāntasamastavarṇanakarī śambhostribhāvākarī

kāśmīrātrijaleśvarī trilaharī nityāṅkurā śarvarī |

kāmākāṅkṣakarī janodayakarī kāśīpurādhīśvarī

bhikṣāṃ dehi kṛpāvalambanakarī mātānnapūrṇeśvarī ||7||

Oh Mother Annapurna! You are the maker of the letters 'a' to 'ksha'. You are the cause of the three acts of Sambhu, Sattva, Rajas and Tamas leading to Creation, Preservation and Destruction of the Universe.

You are red of saffron, the Goddess of Night, the Goddess of the Three Waters which always flowing as the Three Waves (the Three Shaktis of Iccha, Jñana, and Kriya, Will, Knowledge, and Activity).

You fulfill the various wishes of the devotees and sustain the lives of people, and You are the presiding deity of Kashi.

Please Mother Annapurna, grant us the alms of Your Grace.

देवी सर्वविचित्ररत्नरचिता दाक्षायणी सुन्दरी

वामं स्वादुपयोधरप्रियकरी सौभाग्यमाहेश्वरी ।

भक्ताभीष्टकरी सदा शुभकरी काशीपुराधीश्वरी

भिक्षां देहि कृपावलम्बनकरी मातान्नपूर्णेश्वरी ॥८॥

devī sarvavicitraratnaracitā dākṣāyaṇī sundarī

vāmaṃ svādupayodharapriyakarī saubhāgyamāheśvarī |

bhaktābhīṣṭakarī sadā śubhakarī kāśīpurādhīśvarī

bhikṣāṃ dehi kṛpāvalambanakarī mātānnapūrṇeśvarī ||8||

Oh Goddess! You are adorned with different kinds of gems. You are the daughter of Daksha, the most beautiful.

On the left You hold a bowl of sweet milk. You are the doer of good to all, endowed with good fortune.

You are the fulfiller of the desires of the devotees, doer of auspicious acts, and the presiding deity of Kashi.

चन्द्रार्कानलकोटिकोटिसदृशा चन्द्रांशुबिम्बाधरी

चन्द्रार्काग्निसमानकुन्तलधरी चन्द्रार्कवर्णेश्वरी ।

मालापुस्तकपाशासाङ्कुशधरी काशीपुराधीश्वरी

भिक्षां देहि कृपावलम्बनकरी मातान्नपूर्णेश्वरी ॥९॥

candrārkānalakoṭikoṭisadṛśā candrāṃśubimbādharī

candrārkāgnisamānakuntaladharī candrārkavarṇeśvarī |

mālāpustakapāśāsāṅkuśadharī kāśīpurādhīśvarī

bhikṣāṃ dehi kṛpāvalambanakarī mātānnapūrṇeśvarī ||9||

Oh Mother Annapurna! Your Divine splendor is like millions and millions of moons, suns and fires. Your face shines like the Moon, endowed with lips resembling the red Bimba fruit.

You have locks of hair and ear-ornament shining like the moon, sun and fire, and have a complexion radiating the Splendor of the Moon and the Sun.

In the four Hands You hold a rosary, book, noose, and hook, and You are the presiding deity of Kashi.

Please Mother Annapurna, grant us the alms of Your Grace.

क्षत्रत्राणकरी महाऽभयकरी माता कृपासागरी

साक्षान्मोक्षकरी सदा शिवकरी विश्वेश्वरश्रीधरी ।

दक्षाक्रन्दकरी निरामयकरी काशीपुराधीश्वरी

भिक्षां देहि कृपावलम्बनकरी मातान्नपूर्णेश्वरी ॥१०॥

kṣatratrāṇakarī mahā'bhayakarī mātā kṛpāsāgarī

sākṣānmokṣakarī sadā śivakarī viśveśvaraśrīdharī |

dakṣākrandakarī nirāmayakarī kāśīpurādhīśvarī

bhikṣāṃ dehi kṛpāvalambanakarī mātānnapūrṇeśvarī ||10||

Oh Mother Annapurna! You are the power that protects us and the remover of great fear. You are the Great Mother and an Ocean of Compassion.
